Our first engineering event of the second semester allowed engineering students to learn about artificial intelligence within surgery under the guidance of Orsi Surgical AI. After an introduction regarding the possibilities and applications of AI in the operating room, participants were able to work together to further code an AI network to detect robotic instruments.
