Kick-off 2022 
On Sunday the 2nd of October we organized our yearly Kick-off event.
We focused on the different aspects of innovation from both medical and engineerings perspectives. We are proud to have welcomed amazing speakers. Dr. Depotter talked about cardiac electropysiology and did, along with J&J, both a medical and a technical workshop on ablation. Prof Dr. Ann Coosemans and prof Dr. Matteo Riva talked about immunotherapy in ovarian carcinoma and glioblastoma’s. We also thank Dr. Marc Vandevoort for the clear explanation about robotic surgery in breast reconstruction. Pieter Heyvaert from @materialise explained us the 3D planning and printing of patient-specific cases in hospitals. Prof. Dr. Vincent Keereman gave an insightful lecture about the interaction between physicians and engineers in the marketing of ideas.
