🔸🔹 From Student to CEO🔹🔸
On March 11th, we hosted the first edition of a new initiative at Junior Orsi: ‘From Student to CEO’. With this event we focused on student-entrepreneurship and aimed to give our members a clear understanding of what it takes to create and grow a business.
We had the great pleasure to welcome Sim Vanlangenhove founder of Simpools Bram Vermeulen founder of Thermolight and Dr Ali Zamani, founder and CEO of MediStitch who talked about their entrepreneurial journey and the lessons learned along the way.
Furthermore interactive sessions were provided by imec with a keynote on the building blocks of a successful start-up. BlueHealth Innovation Center delighted us with an inspirational session, learned us how to pitch and create a business model canvas during workshops. KBC Bank & Verzekering Start-it introduced us to their accelerator program and showed us how to stay flexible and open-minded as a start-up using their lean start up methodology.
We want to thank all this partners who allowed us to unite enthusiastic students from different backgrounds and Orsi Academy Academy for the opportunities.
