🔸On October 16th, 2023 we dove into the magical World of Cardiology. 🔹
We organised a hands-on workshop with Siemens Healthineers. This workshop was designed to immerse participants in the practical aspects of cardiology, offering a chance to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. Participants had the chance to practice their stenting skills on the Artis Icono C-arch using the Mentice simulator. Besides, participants could discover the use of TEE ultrasound for precise guidance. Furthermore, new cutting-edge techniques in valve procedures were demonstrated using a pre-procedural CT planning software. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to explore the possibilities of an Augmented Reality application.
Last but not least, Prof. Dr. Mattias Duytschaever, professor electrophysiology at Ghent University and cardiologist in AZ Sint-Jan Brugge, gave an interactive lecture on cardiac arrest and the latest ablation techniques.
