Digitalisation of the patient’s pathway of care

The evening will be divided into three parts. First, Matthias Verstraete (PhD, Director Technology Development Stryker) will introduce you to Stryker and their sensors. During this presentation the focus will be on the technical side of the different devices.

Next, two workshops will be offered to all attendees, each focusing on a different step in the patient’s pathway of care.
The first workshop will be about the intra-operative part and how technology can be used to provide superior implant placing in response to real-time data.

During the second workshop, students will gain experience with MotionSense: a wearable monitoring device that helps patients through their knee replacement recovery by capturing key metrics such as pain scores, range of motion and wound healing.
To wrap up the evening, a walking-dinner will be provided with an opportunity to network or ask further questions to the Stryker’s representatives.
