Engineering the Future of Personalised Care

November 3, 2022 @ 18:00 - 22:00

Have you ever wondered what 3D printing and advanced visualisation techniques might mean for the future of engineering and medicine? Are you interested in the technology that is shaping organs and modelling prosthetics? Want to know more about how these innovations are improving personalised patient care?
During our first engineering workshop of the year, Junior Orsi is delighted to collaborate with Materialise to give an exclusive insight into their 3D planning software. With over 30 years of experience, Materialise is one of the world’s leading 3D printing companies and is shaping the future of personalised patient care.
We will start off the evening with a fascinating lecture on the vision of Materialise and medical applications of 3D printing. This will be followed by a workshop during which you will discover the company’s Mimics and 3-Matic software and gain hands-on experience guided by specialised engineers. At the end of the evening, a walking dinner will be included where Materialise will showcase their state-of-the-art 3D printed realisations.
Participation in this event does not require prior knowledge and will suit the interest of both engineers, interested in getting to know Materialise and their software, and medical students, who are curious to experience how 3D technology enhances medical practice.
